Introduction
Hi, guys, it’s Alston. In this video, we are going to do a first experience review video of WOPE rank tracking. There are two reasons why I’m saying “first experience.” First, it is not a complete in-depth review video because this is a tool which I’m not using for a long time. I just got the lifetime deal right now and I wanted to create the video from the initial setup itself so I can explore with you guys to show all the good things, bad things about this software.
Second reason, I saw a lot of comments in the lifetime deal thread or support section saying they were having some issues, encountering problems setting up the tool, they see all the features, but were not able to use it and everything. I wanted to see whether everything got fixed up or not.
So what I’ve done is I have just bought the lifetime deal. I have the link in the description also if you want to check it out and I have literally created an account with them. I am currently on their welcome screen and we’ll go through together and see how easy it is to set up, whether it is a good tool or not, because literally I have no idea – I’m going to explore with you guys.
Detailed Space Setup Walkthrough
So this is the first screen I get for welcome. There is a release update showing it. We are not interested in it right now. Basically, I have created an account and it’s currently on a welcome wizard for me.
First, personalized experience is asking me whether I want to share some personal experience. Why not? In this case, it might be good for me. So let me fill it up quick.
Initial Setup Process
- Companies size: 1-10 (selected based on my business size)
- Role selection: I chose “SEO” from the available options
- Theme selection: Light mode or dark mode option available
Dark mode looks really cool for me, so I prefer that. Let me click on Continue. I like that they give two options. Now it’s asking me to create a workspace for me.
Let me do it for Digital Marketing Minds since you guys know that is my blog – this is the blog which I’m going to create a rank tracking project for. I’m going to use that as an example itself, Digital Marketing Mind, and click on Create Space.
Trial to Lifetime Deal Activation
Hopefully everything works as it is. It automatically went into the 14-day trial, free trial exploration. I do not understand why I upgraded it. Let’s see what happens.
So it took me to the space, and automatically I got into this. I’m still in trial mode. Let’s see whether I can make it upgraded or not. So you can see it showed me I had a trial mode and I went into the plan. Within the plan I can see AppSumo deal, but I need to activate the lifetime deal.
I’m going to do that here. Click on Activate. Hopefully it works. Now it worked. Now it says that space upgraded, now it’s a lifetime deal. Now let me go back into the back… Apparently, these back buttons are not working unless I’m doing something wrong.
So that back button was not working for me. Okay, this seems to be this project space, so digital marketing. I can create multiple projects. So initially I thought that was a project itself, but it’s a space. Within the space, I can possibly have multiple projects. So that is what I’m making sense here.
Comprehensive Ranking Project Creation
So we don’t see any data or anything like that. It is pretty blank with some options at the left hand side. Again, we won’t be able to see any of these things here because we don’t have anything to work with where we have help and support. Now let me see how easy it is to create a project and use it. So I’m going to click on Create Project.
Intelligent Auto-Detection Features
It’s asking for a website URL, which I can provide. So this is going to be the website URL. And it’s trying to find the name correctly, let’s see, and I can select the location.
Okay, it found the location also correctly. I think it could be from my language tags. Let’s see whether I have given it, could be from something like here, let’s see. This is a free extension which shows all the on-page SEO stuff. Maybe it might show some extra in a schema with what language my site is or not. Maybe it took the answer from here. Maybe this is the reason it automatically identified as United States and English.
I could be mistaken, but I assume that is the case how it identified it. I’m going to click on continue.
Smart Competitor Analysis Setup
It’s asking who are my competitors. So automatically it gives me option to add it manually or it also provides suggestions. So mine is a digital marketing blog. So it did bring up some relevancy and some irrelevant sites.
For example:
- Cloudflare, Streamlabs, even YouTube – I couldn’t say that as a competitor
- Neil Patel – maybe it is a digital marketing blog, so that’s a good one
- AppSumo – possibly since I’m doing AppSumo product reviews, it’s saying that AppSumo is a competitor for me (I don’t want to directly compete with them)
- Backlinko – possibly a good competitor
I can also keep on adding more of this. For this example, I’ll keep it as three itself. If I want, I can possibly add another site as well. I’m going to click on Continue.
Advanced Keyword Research and Import Options
Now it’s asking for keywords within that. “By analyzing your performance and competitors, we built a keyword list.” That is a cool one. “Let us pick them for you automatically or choose them from suggested keyword list.”
They are trying to make some AI, or even some suggestions and bringing keywords for me if I want to do that. But most of the time it won’t make sense unless you don’t know what are the keywords you are going to be targeting, what you want to rank, everything.
AI-Powered Keyword Suggestions
Let me see, when I click on it, does it give me an option? It automatically, first option is auto create project. Keywords will be automatically chosen. I’m not sure why someone will choose that because it might take some unrelated keywords.
The second option is much more interesting to be honest. Choose from suggestion. You can choose from 1,500 unique keywords. This is something interesting to me. So first I go into this section, I do have settings here, a selection rate and it automatically tried to do that.
So I can toggle around to see how many keywords. So I get, these are my website ranking or something. My website is already ranking for keywords. These are the rankings for my competitors. So that’s what I’m understanding from here.
So these are the suggested competitors, and you can see the Neil Patel logo is there, Backlinko is there, AppSumo is there. So the common keywords between all these three. So we have 500 count here and 1,000 count here. So depending on competitor, it didn’t make really much sense because digital marketing blog, it is a very wide range of topics. So it’s going to be… it’s a little bit of a mess.
If you have a very focused competitor, then this particular thing might make you much more interesting for you. But this is quite good to be honest. It didn’t pick up all my relevant keywords, but it did pick up some ranking keywords here, like I have some free tools within my site. It did pick up those keywords, domain name keywords. I do have a domain registration guide and everything.
Lightning-Fast Search Performance
This is okay to be honest, but I like the fact that they provide the search volume also and goes up to a thousand keywords. So that is also good. Let me see whether I can search for keywords from here. Okay, this is also good. It shows me all the keywords and I really like the swiftness when it comes to doing this.
I do a search for something like let me do “lifetime deal.” You can see how fast it is. We are already ranking for Black Friday lifetime deal, which I’m preparing. So it is really swift. That is what I really like up to now because when I do something, I’m getting the results as soon as I want.
Flexible Keyword Import Methods
So that is how the suggestion works. Rather than this, I would choose this if you are going to go with automation or in my case, I’m going to import the keywords which I have. I can type to add the keyword. I can tag the keywords here, I can see I can create a new keyword or I can upload a file from my Excel.
I have the option to get a demo link which possibly give me, I think, a template of Excel sheet. Possibly I need to replace the data there and get it like how I want. CSV option is there, Google Sheet option also there, I can upload it. They are also giving some additional information here.
We have the option to select the current location, which automatically took. Maybe I can change it to a different one. Let’s see whether it works or not. Okay, it is able to identify. I can set up other location and location also not limited to country. We are getting city results as well. That is a good one.
And language, we have English along with a lot of different languages options also there. I do have a keyword list already planned which I want to use for this demo. Since I’m currently focusing a lot on Black Friday deals and everything, I’m going to use these keywords for me.
Practical Keyword Setup Example
I’m going to paste in the first set of keywords. Let me create a new tag and say, “Black Friday general keywords.” I’m going to create it, tag done, and the instruction disappeared. Preview, track. It automatically shows me all the different keywords, tagging and what is the location and language also shown. Total number of count is also shown. Let me click on track keyword.
Now I’m getting “well done.” It was fast. “We are collecting data for the initial setup can take 15 minutes depending on its size. Once the work is complete, we’ll notify you.”
Okay, we get a “rank tracker ready to use 20%.” It could be the total number limitation I have. I bought the first tier plan for the LTD, so I think 200 was the limit. I am using 20 keywords right now. Maybe 20% shows how much I’m using on my total capacity.
Real-Time Data Processing and Performance
I have the option to share this product as well. But basically, that is not included in the first tier, it seems. I’m just going to go inside the rank tracker to see what data I’m seeing.
You can see, okay, that is a processing 20%. So processing 20%. Processing is currently on 20%. It shows “your dashboard will be ready soon. What is next?” So while I am waiting for that, it’s giving me option to learn how to use a tool as well.
So if I click on that, possibly it might open up a YouTube video. Let me pause that. And you can see it is going for a YouTube video. That is good. All it does is going into the wiki section of the tool itself. So it is something good because when you are waiting obviously you can close it out and come back to another time or in the time you are waiting you can try to learn this tool a bit more.
Processing Time Results
So in this case I’m going to pause the video. Currently it’s 6:37. Let me see after how much time I get the data for this. Let’s wait and see.
Okay, guys, we got the results back. It took 6:42 right now. So for 20 keywords, it took around five minutes of the time. So depending on that, you can make calculations. I’m not sure whether this is the regular time or this is something which changes as it goes away. So depending on that, you’d make a decision.
So we have an overview. I have received a mail that project is live and all the information on that. That is a good sign I got the mail just now. Let me close that out. I don’t want any other instructions.
Comprehensive Rank Tracker Overview Analysis
This is the project screen I got. I have the option to, let’s say, filter the keywords by tag. If I have different tags, I assume that when I click on different tags, it is only going to show those keyword tags data here as well.
User Interface and Navigation Features
Escape. The shortcuts also do seem to be working. I get actions, not sure. But when I click on escape, that pop-up closed. The keyboard shortcut seems to be working.
I have mobile and as well as desktop, I think. The data is differing for both devices. When I click on mobile, they are making mobile as their primary, but I have the options to see the desktop results as well.
When I click on the calendar, obviously, I think it is going to be the history of ranking different days, but we are not able to see anything because I just set up that project right now.
Advanced Ranking Metrics Explanation
Under the Performance, we get these question marks everywhere. I really like this to be honest because it does explain what each of these means. Like when I go that it shows what we will be seeing on Overview. It gives me all the indications here, traffic.
I do not understand what is this value right now because it does not give me any labels for it. This shows the value, what are these plus mark means. So first it shows only traffic. When I add the plus mark, it also going to be showing me my ads value, position, visual rank, pixel rank, visibility.
Different positions we get, understand this is the most common one, like what position, but visual rank is bit more different on how they’re going to calculate pixel rank, how many pixels you are ranking. These are all the modern ranking metrics. Visibility also shows the total visibility. So that is good.
I have the ability to select only the things which I want to see and see it. And also I see a daily, weekly, monthly I am not able to select it because I don’t have the data right now.
Performance Insights and Data Quality
Come down, I am seeing a tags with winners section and tags by traffic. So obviously currently it is showing me this as winner. Obviously, when I have more tags and historical ranking data, we will be seeing different results for that.
So far there is no lagging to be honest. Everything looks really smooth, very quick to respond also. There is no stalking or freezing or anything like that. Everything works really fast.
Export option is there are tags by traffic, like this is good. I have the option to see the losers and winners, the good performing keywords versus the bad performing keywords.
Below, if I go down also I see keyword data like how many keywords are ranking within position one, two, three, position four to 10, how many? Position 11 to 20. Position 21 to 50, how many? And 51-100. I get a quick idea on that as well.
Intelligent Competitor Analysis
So it shows the winners for me here as well. Losers also obviously with the ranking data, I will see more data here. So competitors, I’m still on overview screen you can see. So it shows Markupshire, like other domains, Techrida, it identified main competitors who have all these keywords in common.
It shows that who have captured most of the keyword range, Techrida, blackfriday.com, Cybernews, Musicrida, Crunch, and other domains. It shows the individual places as well and the other domain. I can possibly hide this and see also, I think.
Okay, that is good. I can hide multiple stuff if I want. I can show it again, all these things are. This looks good and an export option is available for all of these as well.
Daily progress I can see from visibility, position, visual rank, pixel rank, traffic, all these options are there. So this is good. It’s going to be comparing my site with all the different competitors. Again, a daily progress and shows how much positions they are improving in total, I think.
So that is good. Position distribution map is available like top 10, top 20 who is ranking all those good details. Those are the overall summary view, summary screen overview, which is really good to be honest.
Obviously, I need to see the historical data and to see how well it looks like. But right now it provides a good amount of information without confusing a lot. So now I’m going to go into the performance section and click on the summary first.
Detailed Performance Analysis Features
I’m not sure whether what data I will see. So okay, this is the data. This is a much more comfortable, to be honest, view for me. We have the summary view here, but here we go into our traditional way of ranking, like it shows the keyword, it shows the volume, what was the position on November 8th? What was the visual ranking?
How much was my pixel ranking? What is the total amount of visibility for my particular URL, traffic, how much received this? I think it is going to be using the visibility percentage and rank and pixel rank with the volume and going to be giving a traffic value for me, ads value and an opportunity traffic share, how much I’m going to do.
If there’s a CPC amount for that particular keyword is going to show that data as well here. We get all these things and no SERP feature is listed. If it found SERP feature listed, it might show. I don’t know why it’s not showing anything here.
In-Depth Keyword Analysis Tools
So when I go into opportunity, it shows the volume 10, position was 10, and all these things good. It shows all the keyword ranking. It also shows me search volume. So what is going to happen when I click on analysis? Let’s see.
So when I clicked on analysis, it showed me showing me search volume with trends data. This is good, like each month, what is the volume data? It’s showing me it’s good. Global volume data, this is also I really like. Like US, I’m getting 10 searches, but in global there is 50 searches and who are the biggest countries? So that is good.
SERP feature, CPC at competition, daily comparison, like how much I’m improving for this particular keyword, I’m not going to see anything here because I just added the project right now. Possibly after that I might see different data.
I’m guessing the comparing URL option not available, I can possibly add a competitor and see their data also from here possibly. Compare SERP. First we got the daily comparison, compare SERP from the others who are ranking for this particular keyword. It’s showing me different data from my compare SERP.
I don’t see an option to expand this and see. I would like to possibly expand. There is option to minimize it apparently, but I am not able to expand it. I would like to pop up this into a window so I can see it much more clearly.
Advanced SERP Analysis and Page Insights
SERP feature showing me nothing to show data for that. Any changes it might show you. Now currently as of today, there is no changes here. SERP preview also not showing me. I’m not sure this is for this keyword or for others also.
Volume analysis, it’s showing me at what percentage of time the searches are coming here and included keyword. I’m not sure how they are picking up this included keyword. It’s showing me some relevant keyword for me and SERP Optimizer, no pages listed.
I’m not sure why suggested keywords are not showing me. It’s giving me a page insights code, looks like a GTmetrix or a Google page analysis, a Lighthouse report and user experience like it’s showing me a user experience.
It does show me a speed optimization score from desktop to mobile. We need to improve on desktop. That is what we are seeing, opportunities. Basically, we’re getting this page analysis here.
Performance: Daily Progress and Volume Trends
Daily progress. If I go into daily progress, let’s see what we are seeing it. Here I think we are… Let me see what we are seeing. Daily progress allowed to analyze changes in the metrics of a given in detail day by day. It gives valuable insight to detect and evaluate performant decreases or increases.
So if I click here, I’m seeing the same result which I got into the first one. I don’t see what is different here. Okay, so I think maybe it’s average selected date. I can say select a date here. Possibly I’m seeing the average. I don’t know what I’m going to be seeing here unless I’m missing something obviously, but I’m not sure.
Customizable Metrics Display
Maybe when I get some data here, I might see something different. So we have the option to view different… Okay, now it makes sense. If some metrics was hidden, I can turn it on if I want. Now it makes sense. I obviously can turn this on. I’m not sure why they have turned that off.
They are giving the option. It has turned a lot of options down. So depending on your need, you can possibly turn this on and off, then it makes sense. For example, when I turn this matrix on, now I am able to see average ranking change, like from this day to this day, how much it was changed.
So it shows that position eight from nowhere it came to three because I just added the project right now. So it gives me all those options. I have the option to filter various keywords from value. A lot of filter options are available. If I go here, I can add multiple filters also.
A lot of filter options are available for me to get. If you have thousands of keywords, this might be helpful for you. Sorting option also is available. Maybe I want to sort it from ranking. I get an idea on which is ranking really high for me. Export option also available.
Those are good and option possibly search maybe, how fast I’m getting search results. I have only 20 keywords. I’m not sure whether that affects the speed or not, but it is responsive for me very fast. You can see it is very fast for me.
Volume Trends: Seasonal Intelligence
Now I’m going to go into volume trends and inside volume trends I’m seeing like it understands like search volume. It analyzes the search volume a bit more, I think, because it currently identified that November is the best because it’s a Black Friday seasonal keyword.
It shows the general keyword search was 30, the volume is 140 on November. I really like this to be honest because most tools will only show you that one search volume. But I am able to see the volume best like from month perspective also, like at what month it decreases, at what month it’s going up, all these things.
I really like this particular screen, to be honest. It gives me more insight on the search volume for my keywords, like what is happening, what is the range for those keywords, at what time it was really best when it comes to that. I really like this key functionality a lot.
When I click on Analysis, I think it opened a similar screen to which I saw it first, but now I’m getting more URL related to this particular one, but I’m still seeing that same screen. Analysis open up the same thing again and again for all these things, but we are seeing a different one. This is pretty interesting to me right now.
Market Analysis: Competitors and Daily Comparison
Okay, we have finished the performance. Now let me go into market. It’s competitive first. Let’s see. Okay, now I have added my site but since I’m focusing on Black Friday deals, none of the competitors which I added really focus on Black Friday.
That’s why I think it is showing me all the visibility here for me but nothing here. You can see they are not ranking for this keyword because they are not targeting. For example, AppSumo Black Friday lifetime deals. AppSumo is ranking number one which makes sense because they are the AppSumo.
You can see it automatically compare what is the keyword which we are tracking along with all your competitors showing me the changes and everything. This screen is going to be giving me a quick overview of how I am performing when I’m compared with competitors.
Competitor Management Features
So that is what this screen is going to be showing for me. I have the option to turn on the chart or not. I have different option to filter it out all these things. Different options are available that these are auto identified or you want to use my own competitor data. Possibly I can disable competitors also. So that option is available.
I can add a new competitor as well here. So that is good as well. For example, if I add Cybernews, I might get more results here. So you can see more results are coming here. I can add more competitors from here as well. So that is good here.
Daily Comparison Analysis
Daily comparison. What I’m seeing in daily comparison? Daily comparison, let’s see, position, change. I’m not sure what is the difference between daily comparison and competitors because we are seeing something similar here. I’m not sure what is the difference.
Market share. Sorry, guys, I don’t have any idea. Maybe once I get some data, I might get a better idea here. But so far I’m seeing something like this here.
Position Distribution Insights
Position distribution, let me check. Okay, the position distribution gives me an idea on how the positions are distributed from different sites. I’m not sure why it’s showing me different sites. Based on traffic, it’s showing me what is the traffic percentage, how much keywords are in common in top three and things.
Here this is also pretty confusing to be honest because I would like to get bit more information before understanding what this data is showing me to give a better idea. Here it gives me a small explanation like allows you to view the position distribution of competitor. You can analyze the competitor with most traffic of selection by comparing. Not better. Maybe when I read their wiki, I might get a better idea on it.
Documentation, Quick Actions, and Community Features
I will leave the link for the wiki page also. Currently it seems to be in detail, but I would have preferred to see images also. For example, they are saying dynamic grouping but when I went into read that I don’t see any images.
I personally would love to see images, videos when I see some document help and everything. So I would love to see that when I was trying it out. This is wiki is available, so that is that particular section. I might get a better idea and want to start using it.
Quick Actions and Shortcuts
We have quick actions like add a keyword, jump to a tag, switch to desktop, device to desktop, mobile, view all projects, all these options are there. So that is the features right now available, rank tracker. We don’t see anything else.
Is there any information on what is coming into the space? Let’s see. Community, I opened up it went for a broken link right now.
Product Roadmap Analysis
Apart from that, is there anything else? Let me go down to see, okay, roadmap is there. That is what I wanted to see. Okay, this is the invalid URL which I found when I went into roadmap. This is the first time. Ideas. Okay, let’s see what is planned.
- Google Search Console is planned – That is a good one if they make that as soon as possible
- Progress Report Email – really good one. We can send it to clients
- Color scheme – not that interesting for me
- Copy feature from Iotra – I’m not sure what this does
- Release competitor listed by tag – We saw that feature
Ideas people are submitting ideas, I think, keyword research tracking URL. Still very low amount of roadmap right now. Possibly they might go into depth, but that is the features available right now as it is.
Comprehensive Pros and Cons Analysis
Currently, the good things which I see from these things, it is a rank tracker with a lot of advanced functionality involved in it. It provides a mix of both advanced data as well as some quick, easy to understand for beginners as well.
I really like the fact that even though if you are unable to get started instantly, they provide automatic AI keyword suggestions or option to select our own keyword from their suggestion. Even in importing the keyword, they provide multiple phrases from list to Excel, CSV, and I think JSON, Google Sheet. Those options were there.
Detailed Pros Analysis
- Very fast and sleek interface – The interface, I really like the interface a lot. It’s very smooth to be honest and loads very fast
- Offers both dark mode and light mode – Great customization option
- Mobile and desktop modes available everywhere – I really like the fact they give both for all the screens, both desktop ranking data and as well as mobile ranking data
- Excellent auto-detection – Auto-detection of site name, target location, and keywords
- Multiple methods for importing keywords – Excel, CSV, Google Sheets, JSON options
- Easy to view ranking position, pixel, and more – Modern ranking metrics
- Impressive data display on Volume Trends – I really like this key functionality a lot
- The Competitor comparison feature is effective – Good competitor analysis tools
- Lightning-fast performance – I didn’t notice any delays or any stuck in or anything like that
- Keyboard shortcuts work well – Even when I press escape on keyboard, it is closing on the screen
Areas for Improvement (Cons)
- Lack of detailed explanations – Some explanations are missing. I would like to see more in-depth explanation on that or possibly a video on each of the screen to get a better understanding of that
- Documentation could be enhanced – Including images in the wiki for different sections of the tool would be beneficial. I personally would love to see images, videos when I see some document help and everything
- Confusing similar sections – There seems to be no discernible difference between Market Competitors and Daily Comparison, as they show the same data. Some of these sections are confusing for me because I’m seeing the same results or same data in two screens
- Broken community link – The community invite link is broken in the site menu
- Back button navigation issues – These back buttons are not working unless I’m doing something wrong
- Limited expandability – I would like to pop up this into a window so I can see it much more clearly for some analysis screens
But do note that I’m just using 20 keywords as an example to test out this tool. So this is my initial impression and what I am seeing is lacking so far.
Final Conclusion and Future Testing Plans
Those are my initial impressions. Possibly I might try to use it further and let’s see, maybe I will keep this running for another seven days to see what data I’m collecting and make a better judgment after that because I do have a lot of rank tracking, because even my Semrush subscription has a rank tracking and I have Nozzle and all other good rank tracking as well.
WOPE Rank Tracking seems to be a robust tool with a blend of advanced and beginner-friendly features. Its performance, especially in keyword search swiftness and data presentation, is noteworthy. The tool provides a wealth of data and was quick and swift in processing keyword searches and displayed a mix of advanced functionalities and beginner-friendly features.
The AI suggestions for keywords and the manual import options (like Excel, CSV, Google Sheets) were particularly useful. The interface was fast, smooth, and responsive, displaying keyword rankings for both desktop and mobile without any delays or freezing.
The overall performance was impressive. It took about 5 minutes for the initial data processing of 20 keywords, and I received an email notification when the project went live. The software offered various options to filter keywords by tag, view data for mobile/desktop, and access different metrics, making the analysis process flexible and comprehensive.
However, it would benefit from more comprehensive guides and a clearer distinction between different data screens. I plan to continue using it for another week, comparing its features with other rank tracking tools like Semrush and Nozzle, to gather more data and provide a more rounded judgment.
So that is my initial impression video. If you have any doubt, feel free to let me know in the comments. I will help you. Or if you want to see other members reaction, what other members feedback is, then come and join our Facebook community. We discuss all the lifetime deals, SaaS, and everything. Maybe that might help you even further.
Once again, thank you so much for watching this video. If this video was helpful to you, leave a like or subscribe to the channel to see more videos like that. Once again, thank you so much for watching this video. I hope you have a great day. Cheers.
