Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Contact and write-for-us forms: your name, email address, subject and message. Submissions are delivered to our inbox as email through Brevo, our transactional email provider. They are not written to a database.
Newsletter subscriptions: your name and email address, processed through Pabbly Connect, our automation platform.

Information Collected Automatically

Google Analytics 4: every page on this site loads Google Analytics, which records page views, referring pages, approximate location, device and browser, and assigns your browser a client ID so that repeat visits can be recognised as the same visitor. This is set out in full under Cookies and Similar Technologies below.
Cloudflare: the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request metadata to serve pages, apply security rules and produce aggregate traffic statistics.
Server logs: standard request logs may record your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

This site sets analytics cookies. Specifically, Google Analytics 4 sets first-party cookies in the _ga family, which persist between visits and hold the randomly generated client ID that distinguishes one browser from another.

What this site does not use: advertising pixels, retargeting or remarketing tags, cross-site trackers, ad networks, and cookies that identify you by name or email.

The Free Browser Tools

The free SEO tools on this site are covered by this policy. How they handle what you type into them differs by tool, so both cases are stated plainly.

Tools that never send your input anywhere

These run entirely in your browser: the Text Case Converter, Word Counter, Keyword Density Checker, Column to Comma Converter, Spintax Generator and SEO Penalty Checker. When you paste or type into any of them:

Your text is processed by JavaScript running locally on your own device
No text is sent to our servers or to any third party
No text is stored, logged, or saved anywhere, not on our servers, and not in cookies or browser storage
When you close or refresh the page, your text is gone

You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab, and use the tool. No request is made.

The one tool that does send data

The Domain Rating Checker is the exception, because it cannot work without asking someone for the score. The domain name you enter is sent to a function on this site, which passes it to Ahrefs' public domain-rating API and returns the answer to your browser. We do not store or log the domains you look up, but the request does reach Ahrefs, and their privacy policy governs what they do with it. Only the domain is sent, nothing that identifies you.

The tools set no cookies and use no local storage of their own. Pages containing a tool load the same site-wide analytics described above, which measures the page visit and not what you typed.
