SEO Black Friday Deals 2026 card with Live, Announced and Not yet live status labels

On 5 November 2026, two of the 47 SEO tools I checked had a Black Friday offer on their own sites: Scalenut, live now, and Plerdy, starting 13 November. Three more show teasers with no terms, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog say they never run a sale, 39 show nothing yet, and one site wouldn’t load. Every tool below carries its status and the date I checked.

Several roundups of Black Friday deals that rank for this term still print last year’s dates under a 2026 title. I read each tool’s own pricing and Black Friday pages instead. Black Friday is Friday 27 November and Cyber Monday is 30 November, so you have time, and I update this page the day a deal goes live.

Running a Black Friday offer, or spotted one I missed? Submit the deal with the page on the tool’s own site that prints the terms, and I’ll check it before a row changes.

Some links are affiliate links, marked as such. If you buy through one I get a small commission. It doesn’t change your price, and each one has a plain link beside it. Schema Pro is made by Brainstorm Force, my employer. How I review tools.

Scalenut’s Black Friday deal is live and Plerdy’s starts 13 November

Scalenut’s early-access Black Friday deal was live on its pricing page on 5 November 2026: 65% off annual plans and three times the usage limits. The Starter plan drops from $59 a month to $21 a month billed annually. That compares against the monthly price, so it isn’t a 65% cut from what a yearly subscriber normally pays. There’s no end date, no code, and purchases under the offer are non-refundable.

Plerdy’s Black Friday page is the only dated 2026 offer I could read. It takes 50% off every yearly plan for the first 12 months, from 13 November to 2 December (11:59 pm PT), with the code plerdyBF2026. Monthly billing and add-ons are excluded, and the plan renews at the regular yearly price. Plerdy is a CRO and UX tool with an SEO checker, so it’s an adjacent buy. The page shows a “This deal has ended” label beside its countdown, which I read as the timer waiting to start. Check on 13 November before relying on it.

Research suites and rank trackers: nothing live, and two never discount

Twenty-two tools for keyword research, rank tracking, audits and backlink data. None had a 2026 offer on 5 November. “Not yet live” means the tool’s own site showed no 2026 terms that day. Prices are as each site displayed them to me, and several showed euros.

Ahrefs says it “does not run one-off discounts or seasonal specials” on its help centre, and names Black Friday. Annual billing is the saving. Screaming Frog says the same in its FAQ and issues no codes.

Sites quoting a 2026 Semrush discount disagree with each other, from 17% to 50%, and none points to a Semrush page with terms.

Content tools: one live, two still showing 2025

A Black Friday deal discounts year one, not the renewal

A Black Friday sale takes a percentage off year one. That hides the number you care about, which is what year two costs. A first-year discount spread over the years you keep the tool is worth the discount divided by the years. Fifty percent off for one year is 16.7% over three.

The figures below come from each company’s own pages on 5 November 2026, and none is a Black Friday price yet.

PlanYear oneRenewalSaved over three years
Plerdy Startup, Black Friday terms$126$25216.7%
AIOSEO, intro year per its FAQ$49.50$9916.7%
Rank Math PRO, current $5.59/mo promo$67.08$107.8812.6%

Rank Math’s promo renews 61% higher. Schema Pro’s page says every renewal is at full price. So read the renewal line before the headline, and treat a lifetime price, like WP 301 Redirects’, as the one case where year two costs nothing.

When do SEO tool deals go live, and how long do they last?

Black Friday sales on SEO tools follow a pattern. Three past windows were readable on a company’s own site, and they agree. Each began on Black Friday or up to two days before it, and ended between Cyber Monday and three days after. Plerdy’s 2026 window, in the last row, is the early exception.

ToolWindowWhat it took off
Surfer, 202427 Nov to 4 Dec 202430% off annual plans
SEO PowerSuite, 202528 Nov to 1 Dec 202530% off 1-year plans
NeuronWriter, 202528 Nov to 4 Dec 202550% off annual plans
Plerdy, 202613 Nov to 2 Dec 202650% off yearly plans, first year

The savings those companies printed run from 30% to 50%. RankTracker’s 2025 “5 months free” works out at about 42%. If 2026 follows the pattern, expect most offers to start on 26 or 27 November and end between 30 November and 3 December, with Scalenut and Plerdy as the early starters. I’ll drop that guess if SE Ranking’s teaser opens with a different window.

Fake deal sites sell shared logins, and old roundups sell last year

Searching for an Ahrefs Black Friday deal returns pages selling shared “group buy” logins at around $0.99. That isn’t a discount, it’s someone else’s account. I wouldn’t put a card into one.

Old information is the other fake, and you shouldn’t trust a coupon listing over the company’s own page. Third-party pages quoted 60% to 75% off SEO PowerSuite, while its own 2025 announcement said 30%. Check four things before you pay:

  1. The page sits on the tool’s own domain, typed by you, not reached through a coupon link.
  2. It prints the year and the dates.
  3. It says whether the discount covers monthly billing, and what the renewal costs.
  4. It states the refund terms. Scalenut’s offer is non-refundable.

Are paid SEO tools worth buying on Black Friday?

Not on the day, and not before a trial. Start with your SEO strategy: are you buying technical audits, keyword tracking, content optimization or link building? Search engines don’t care which tool you used, so the only test is whether it saves you hours in that workflow.

Two verdicts are easy. Don’t wait for a sale on Ahrefs or Screaming Frog, because it won’t come. And don’t pay for an annual plan on a tool you haven’t run against your own keyword research or audit.

I’ve reviewed six of these. Each affiliate link has a plain one beside it.

My Semrush review covers every major tool I tested, and Semrush offers a 7-day free trial, so test first. Semrush (affiliate link) or semrush.com.

Morningscore is the tool I’d test for daily rank tracking with AI prompt tracking. My exclusive code growth2026 took 20% off when I checked on 24 September 2026. Morningscore (affiliate link) or morningscore.io.

Semdash did competitor, keyword and traffic research well, and I’d double-check its keyword difficulty. The lifetime deal I tested around was sold out on 27 September, and its pricing page now shows 40% off as a standing banner, not a Black Friday offer. Semdash (affiliate link) or semdash.com.

Answer Socrates turned one topic into 1,326 keyword ideas in 206 clusters. For the free-keyword side of the same job, my guide to finding low-competition keywords shows the method. Answer Socrates (affiliate link) or answersocrates.com.

ClickRank has a Search Console AI agent that impressed me. Its AI writer failed my test, so I’d skip that half. ClickRank (affiliate link) or clickrank.ai.

CrawlWP is the one I can’t update. IndexNow worked in my test and Google API submissions stayed in progress, but its site blocked my check on 5 November, so I haven’t seen its current pricing. I have no affiliate link for it.

If you’re buying for AI search work, my AI SEO Black Friday deals page compares 34 trackers and tools by price per tracked prompt.

What I couldn’t verify

Similarweb shows no self-serve prices, Sitebulb’s Lite price and Keyword Chef’s plan prices didn’t load, and Advanced Web Ranking doesn’t show its currency. I left those cells as I found them.

“Koala” is two companies. getkoala.com is shutting down, and the AI article writer in the table is koala.sh. And a Black Friday 2025 deal that a third-party blog reports but the company’s own pages don’t show, like AlsoAsked’s, stays out of the status column.

I’ll move a row to Live the day the tool’s own site prints terms.

Frequently asked

Questions About This Article

Is it cheaper to buy SEO tools on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

Neither day is cheaper. In every Black Friday window I could read on a company's own site, including SEO PowerSuite and NeuronWriter in 2025, one offer ran through both days. Buy when you've finished testing the tool, not on a particular day.

Is SEO still good in 2026?

Yes. Organic clicks to ZipWP, a site I work on, rose 74% from a zero baseline, and the tools in this list exist because that work still pays. What changed is that AI answers now sit beside the blue links, so keyword research and citation tracking are both part of the job.

How should I prepare my own website for Black Friday SEO in 2026?

Use one permanent URL for your sale and update it each year instead of publishing a new page, and ship it before the sale starts, because a new URL can take days or weeks to be crawled and indexed. This page tracks SEO tool deals, not store checklists.
