What Alli AI is

Alli AI sits in the small category of tools that change your site rather than report on it. You install it once and it deploys technical optimisations across thousands or millions of pages — which is aimed squarely at the bottleneck most SEO work actually hits, where the recommendations are finished and the developer queue is six weeks long.

Its current emphasis is AI crawlers, and this is the part worth understanding. It pre-renders pages for 50-plus AI crawlers and includes a live monitor of AI bot traffic. Many AI crawlers execute little or no JavaScript, so a client-rendered site can be effectively invisible to them while looking fine to Googlebot. Pre-rendering is a real answer to that, and monitoring which bots actually arrive is the only way to know whether it matters for you.

Pricing is per site, keyword and page, with overages published for each: Business at $249 a month covers 5 sites, 500 keywords and 1,250 pages, and Agency at $499 covers 15, 2,000 and 5,000. The per-unit extras get cheaper as tiers rise — an extra site is $32.50 on Business and $15.84 on Enterprise — so if you are near a ceiling, the arithmetic can favour upgrading over topping up.

What you can use it for

  • Deploy technical SEO changes to a live site without developer time
  • Pre-render pages so AI crawlers can read them
  • Monitor which AI bots are actually crawling your site
  • Apply optimisations across thousands of pages at once
  • Run SEO changes across a client portfolio from one dashboard

The features that matter for SEO

Each one says what it does and the SEO job it serves. A vendor feature list without that second half tells you nothing you could not read on their own site.

Deploys changes to the live site

Pushes technical SEO optimisations across a site without a developer release.

The reason this category exists. Most SEO audits die in a backlog, and a tool that ships the change converts a recommendation into an outcome.

Changes applied through a third-party layer need a rollback plan and a record of what was altered.

Pre-rendering for 50-plus AI crawlers

Serves pre-rendered pages to AI crawlers.

Directly addresses a real failure — many AI crawlers run little or no JavaScript, so a client-rendered site can be invisible to them while ranking normally in Google.

AI Bot Traffic Live Monitor

Reports which AI bots are crawling the site, live.

The measurement that tells you whether AI visibility work is worth funding. Without it, pre-rendering for AI crawlers is an act of faith.

LLM Mode

A mode aimed at large-language-model consumption of the site.

Newly introduced, and hard to assess from documentation alone — worth a demo question rather than an assumption.

Published overage rates

States the per-unit price of extra sites, keywords and pages at every tier.

Makes growth costs predictable, and shows where upgrading beats topping up — an extra site costs half as much on Enterprise as on Business.

Site Speed Optimizer

Applies performance optimisations as part of the deployment layer.

Performance fixes are the classic case of known remedy, unavailable developer, so automating them is a sensible fit.

Link Builder

Builds internal links across the site.

Internal linking at scale is mechanical work that benefits from automation more than almost anything else in SEO.

White-label options

Offers white-label snippet hosting on Agency and a full white-label dashboard on Enterprise.

Lets an agency present the automation as its own service rather than reselling a named tool.

Strengths and limitations

Strengths

  • Deploys changes rather than only recommending them
  • Pre-rendering for AI crawlers addresses a genuine, current problem
  • AI bot traffic monitoring provides the evidence for that work
  • Overage rates published for every unit at every tier
  • White-labelling available for agency delivery

Limitations

  • Expensive to start, at $249 a month
  • Page and keyword allowances are modest for the price — 1,250 pages on Business
  • No free tier or published trial
  • Deploying changes through a third-party layer is a dependency and a risk to plan for
  • LLM Mode and the AI Search Visibility Engine are new and hard to evaluate from documentation

Who it is for, and who should skip it

Worth it if

  • Teams whose SEO fixes are blocked by developer capacity
  • Sites that are client-rendered and need to be readable by AI crawlers
  • Agencies wanting to deliver implementation, not just advice

Skip it if

  • You have developer capacity and would rather change the code directly
  • Your site is small — the entry price assumes scale
  • You want analysis and reporting rather than deployment

Questions

How much does Alli AI cost?

Business is $249 a month or $2,990 a year for 5 sites, 500 keywords and 1,250 pages. Agency is $499 or $5,990 for 15 sites, 2,000 keywords and 5,000 pages. Enterprise is quoted individually for 50 sites and 20,000 pages. Extras are published per unit. Verified on 20 August 2026.

What does pre-rendering for AI crawlers actually fix?

Many AI crawlers execute little or no JavaScript, so a site that renders its content client-side can be effectively blank to them while looking perfectly healthy to Googlebot. Pre-rendering serves them finished HTML instead. Whether you need it depends on how your site renders — and the bot traffic monitor is what tells you.

Is it risky to let a tool change my live site?

It is a real dependency, and worth treating as one. The value is shipping fixes that would otherwise sit in a developer backlog; the cost is that an external layer now affects what users and crawlers see. Ask about rollback, change logging and what happens to your pages if the subscription lapses.
