Scrunch: what it does, what it costs
Treats AI visibility as an agent experience problem, auditing the site as well as the answers.
What Scrunch is
Scrunch frames the problem differently from the other trackers here. Rather than only measuring what assistants say, it also asks whether your site is legible to the agents doing the reading: Site Diagnostics audits pages for what an agent can extract and returns a prioritised fix list, and Agent Traffic shows which AI crawlers actually arrived.
That closes a loop the measurement-only tools leave open. Knowing you are absent from an answer is a finding; knowing that the page you expected to be cited is unreadable to the crawler that would have cited it is a task. Signals flags meaningful changes in how agents describe you, and Explorer allows natural-language querying of your own AI search data.
The pricing is the least accessible in this category. Nothing is published below $250 a month, and that tier holds one brand workspace, four engines and five site audits — so API access, nine-engine coverage, SSO and anything multi-brand means an Enterprise conversation. The trial is seven days, which is short for data that needs several refresh cycles to mean anything.
What you can use it for
- Audit whether your pages are readable by the AI agents that would cite them
- Track how four AI engines describe your brand against competitors
- See which AI crawlers fetch your site, and which pages they take
- Query your own AI search data in natural language rather than through a fixed dashboard
The features that matter for SEO
Each one says what it does and the SEO job it serves. A vendor feature list without that second half tells you nothing you could not read on their own site.
Site Diagnostics
Audits pages for what AI agents can read and returns a prioritised list of fixes.
The mechanism behind citation is extractability. This is the only tool in this directory that audits it and tracks the answers in the same product.
Five site audits a month on Core. Complete site auditing is Enterprise.
Agent Traffic
Analyses AI crawler traffic hitting your site.
Tells you whether the assistants you are trying to appear in are even fetching your pages — which changes the diagnosis entirely.
Monitoring and citation reporting
Tracks brand description and citations across four engines on Core, nine on Enterprise.
The baseline measurement, with 125 prompts at the published tier — more than most rivals include at that price.
Site Maps
Shows how AI systems consume your pages.
Useful for spotting the sections agents ignore entirely, which is usually a structure problem rather than a content one.
Signals
Flags meaningful changes in how agents describe the brand.
Turns a dashboard nobody opens into an alert somebody acts on.
Explorer
A self-serve analytics surface over your AI search data, queryable in natural language and over MCP.
Answers the one-off question without waiting for a report to be built for it.
Shopping visibility
Reports product-level visibility in AI shopping surfaces.
Relevant to ecommerce catalogues rather than SaaS.

Strengths and limitations
Strengths
- The only tool here that treats site auditing and answer tracking as one loop
- 125 prompts and five user licences at the published entry price
- Agent traffic analysis shows which AI crawlers actually read your pages
- Natural-language querying of your own AI search data, through Explorer and MCP
Limitations
- Nothing is published below $250 a month
- API access, SSO and coverage beyond four engines are Enterprise-only
- One brand workspace on Core, so agencies start on Enterprise
- A seven-day trial is short for data that needs several refresh cycles
- Five site audits a month is a small allowance for the feature that distinguishes it
Who it is for, and who should skip it
Worth it if
- The site's technical readability by agents is part of the problem you are solving
- You want measurement and remediation in one place
- A single brand with five people who need access
Skip it if
- You are testing whether AI visibility matters yet — start cheaper
- You are an agency needing multiple brands without an enterprise contract
- You need API access below Enterprise
Alternatives to Scrunch
Each one answers when it is the better choice, which is the only thing a list of competitors is useful for.
- Otterly.ai Choose it when you want to establish the problem exists for $29 a month before committing to a platform.
- Peec AI Choose it when measurement with unlimited users and country coverage is the requirement, not site auditing.
- Profound Choose it when prompt-demand research and CDN-level crawler data matter more than page-level audits.

Questions
What is an agent experience platform?
Scrunch's own framing for treating AI assistants as visitors rather than as a ranking surface: auditing whether your pages are readable by the agents fetching them, analysing that crawler traffic, and tracking what the resulting answers say. In practice it is AI-visibility monitoring with a technical audit attached.
How much does Scrunch cost?
Core is $250 a month as of 18 August 2026, with 125 prompts, four engines, five site audits and five user licences. Nothing cheaper is published, and API access, SSO and nine-engine coverage require an Enterprise contract.
Is Scrunch worth it over a pure tracker?
If your pages might be the problem, yes — no tracker will tell you that a page is unreadable to the crawler that would have cited it. If you already know your content is extractable and you just need measurement, a $29-to-$205 tracker covers it for less.
