AI SEO tools
AI SEO tools apply language models to the SEO work itself — clustering keywords, writing briefs, drafting and editing copy, generating schema, automating repetitive changes.
What AI SEO tools do
Worth separating from the category it is constantly confused with. AI SEO is about using models to do the work; AI search visibility is about being found inside AI answers. One is a production question, the other a measurement question, and a tool doing the first tells you nothing about the second. What these tools genuinely change is the cost of the boring middle: clustering a keyword export, turning a cluster into a brief, drafting a first pass, writing JSON-LD by hand. What they do not change is whether the output deserves to rank. The failure mode is uniform across the category — plausible, fluent, average work produced faster than anyone can review it, which is exactly the kind of content search engines have spent years learning to discount. So the useful question is never "does it use AI" but "does it save a step I was going to do anyway, and can I still tell when it is wrong?" Treat everything here as a draft-and-review loop, and be suspicious of any workflow that removes the review.
The sub-types inside this category
- Research and clustering Grouping keywords by intent, sizing topics, prioritising opportunities. The most reliable use, because the output is checkable against your own data.
- Briefs and drafting Turning a target into an instruction, or an instruction into a first draft. Saves real time and needs real editing.
- Markup and technical generation Schema, meta text, structured output. Well suited to models because correctness is verifiable — a validator will tell you if it is wrong.
- Automation and deployment Applying changes at scale rather than recommending them. The highest leverage and the highest risk, since it writes to live pages.

Entry price is the lowest published figure on a plan you could buy on its own — add-ons and extra seats are excluded, and a tool whose vendor publishes no figure sits under “price not published” rather than being guessed at.
