What NEURONwriter is
NEURONwriter does the standard content-optimisation job — pull the pages ranking for a query, extract the terms and topics they share, score a draft against that model — and prices it at a fraction of what the established tools charge. $23 a month for 25 content analyses sits against $49 and $129 entry tiers elsewhere.
It has also moved earlier than most of the category into AI search. Plans include a number of AI-monitored questions, so you can watch whether your content is being surfaced in AI answers alongside optimising it for search results, with a separate advanced monitoring add-on if you want more.
The metering is what to model before buying. Everything is counted: projects, content analyses, AI-monitored questions and AI credits, all stepping up together through five tiers. Twenty-five analyses a month is roughly one a working day, which suits a solo operator and constrains a team the moment two people are drafting.

The features that matter for SEO

SERP-based content analysis
Analyses the pages ranking for a query and scores a draft against their term and topic coverage.

Add-on rows are only ever charged on top of a plan, so they are excluded from the entry price used in the directory’s price filter.

Is NEURONwriter as good as Clearscope or Surfer?
On the core job — scoring a draft against what ranks — it is close enough that price and metering decide it. Where it loses is scale: analyses are capped tightly and sharing is read-only, so a team of writers hits the ceiling that Clearscope's unlimited users specifically removes.
What are AI-monitored questions?
A set number of questions whose AI answers it watches, to tell you whether your content is being surfaced. Five on the entry plan, seven on Silver, with an advanced add-on at $9 a month. Enough to find out whether the surface matters for your topic, not enough to run a GEO programme on.
