PageOptimizer Pro: what it does, what it costs

On-page scoring with unlimited reports and a monitor that watches pages after you fix them.

Checked 20 August 2026

What PageOptimizer Pro is

PageOptimizer Pro — POP to most of the people who use it — does term and structure scoring for a page against what currently ranks. Its structure is the opposite of the rest of the category: reports and domains are unlimited from the Unlimited tier upward, and what is metered is the extras.

That inversion matters if you work on many sites. Most content-optimisation tools cap analyses or projects, so a consultant with fifteen clients pays for a tier sized by client count. Here the optimisation reports themselves are unlimited on $72 a month, and the credits — 20 on Basic, 50 on Unlimited, 120 on Teams — apply to POP EEAT, NLP, AI Writer and Watchdog rather than to the core job.

Watchdog is the piece worth understanding. It monitors pages after you have optimised them, which addresses the failure mode of every optimisation tool: you score a page, you fix it, and then nobody looks again until traffic falls. On the unlimited tiers you can re-run monitoring as often as you like, which turns a one-off score into a standing check.

What you can use it for

  • Score a page's terms and structure against the pages currently ranking
  • Run unlimited optimisation reports across unlimited domains
  • Monitor optimised pages for drift with POP Watchdog
  • Assess E-E-A-T signals and run NLP analysis using plan credits

The features that matter for SEO

Each one says what it does and the SEO job it serves. A vendor feature list without that second half tells you nothing you could not read on their own site.

Unlimited reports and domains

Places no cap on POP reports or domains from the Unlimited tier upward.

The commercial case, and it inverts the category. Consultants working across many client sites normally pay by project count; here the page-level work is unmetered and only the extras are counted.

Basic draws reports from its 20 credits instead. Unlimited use is subject to fair use.

POP Watchdog

Monitors optimised pages over time and reports changes.

Closes the loop that optimisation tools usually leave open. Scoring a page once tells you nothing about whether it stayed fixed after the next content update.

Term and structure scoring

Compares a page's terms and structure against the pages ranking for its target query.

The core job. POP's emphasis on structure as well as terms is what distinguishes its recommendations from a keyword-density model.

POP EEAT analysis

Assesses experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trust signals, metered in credits.

One of the few tools to make E-E-A-T an explicit check rather than advice, which is useful precisely because the guidance is otherwise so vague.

POP NLP analysis

Runs natural-language analysis of page content, metered in credits.

Aimed at the entity and topic layer that term counting misses.

AI Writer

Generates content using plan credits.

Present, but the credit pool is shared with EEAT, NLP and Watchdog, so generation competes with analysis.

20 credits on Basic will not sustain much generation.

Teams sub-accounts

Provides 5 to 100 sub-accounts on the Teams plan, with extra seats at $12 a month.

Per-seat pricing that stays cheap — $12 a seat is low for a tool whose core reports are unlimited.

Pricing and limits

Starting price: From $40/month (Basic); Unlimited $72/month, or $62/month billed annually Checked 20 August 2026 Vendor’s own pricing page

Add-on
$12 /mo $12 a month or $120 a year per additional seat, up to the 100 sub-account maximum.

Strengths and limitations

Strengths

  • Unlimited reports and unlimited domains from $72 a month
  • Watchdog monitors pages after optimisation, which most rivals do not do at all
  • Explicit E-E-A-T and NLP analysis rather than generic advice
  • Cheap extra seats at $12 a month on Teams
  • 17% off billed annually

Limitations

  • The credit pool is shared across EEAT, NLP, AI Writer and Watchdog, so they compete
  • Basic at $40 draws its reports from credits, so it is not the unlimited product
  • No free tier and no trial published
  • The pricing page's comparison text still references a "Premium" plan absent from the current table
  • Interface and output are utilitarian next to the polished competitors

Who it is for, and who should skip it

Worth it if

  • Consultants and agencies optimising pages across many domains
  • Anyone who wants optimised pages monitored rather than scored once
  • Teams needing several cheap seats on an unmetered core product

Skip it if

  • You want one polished report per article and few of them
  • You need heavy AI generation — the shared credit pool constrains it
  • You want to try before buying, since no trial is published

Alternatives to PageOptimizer Pro

Each one answers when it is the better choice, which is the only thing a list of competitors is useful for.

  • Clearscope Choose it when you want the clearest single report and unlimited users, and will pay for polish.
  • Surfer Choose it when writers need optimisation inside Google Docs and WordPress.
  • NEURONwriter Choose it when you want the lowest price and can live with metered analyses.
  • Rankability Choose it when unlimited clients and users matters more than unlimited reports.

Questions

How much does PageOptimizer Pro cost?

Basic is $40 a month, Unlimited $72 ($62 billed annually, $739 a year) and Teams $143 ($119 billed annually, $1,425 a year). Extra Teams seats are $12 a month. Verified on 20 August 2026.

What does "unlimited" actually cover?

POP reports and Watchdog reports, on the Unlimited and Teams plans, under a fair-use qualification — plus unlimited domains on every tier. What is not unlimited is credits, which EEAT, NLP, AI Writer and Watchdog all draw on. Basic has no unlimited reports at all; it spends its 20 credits on them.

What is POP Watchdog for?

Monitoring pages after you have optimised them. It is the answer to the question optimisation tools normally ignore — whether the page stayed optimised through subsequent edits — and on the unlimited tiers you can re-run it as often as you like.
