AI Search / GEO / LLM Visibility
Visby AI review
AI visibility broken down by funnel stage, with Analytics and Search Console joined in.
What Visby AI is
Visby tracks how a brand appears in AI assistant answers and reports it by funnel stage rather than as one number. That framing is the reason to look at it: knowing you are absent from consideration-stage answers while present in awareness-stage ones tells you which content to write, where a single share-of-voice percentage tells you only that there is a problem.
It also joins Google Analytics and Search Console to the AI data, identifies content gaps from actual AI responses, tracks share of voice against named competitors, and generates GEO tasks automatically. Setup is a wizard that takes under five minutes.
The binding limitation is refresh frequency. Data refreshes every 30 days, and AI answers move week to week — so this measures a trend rather than telling you what changed after last Tuesday's publish. The report builder is also still in beta with widgets missing, which rules it out for client delivery today.
What you can use it for
- See AI visibility split by funnel stage rather than as a single score
- Join AI-answer data to Google Analytics and Search Console in one view
- Find content gaps identified from actual AI responses rather than from a keyword list
- Track share of voice in AI answers against named competitors
The features that matter for SEO
Each one says what it does and the SEO job it serves. A vendor feature list without that second half tells you nothing you could not read on their own site.
LLM prompt visibility tracking
Tracks whether your brand appears in answers across the AI engines selected on your plan.
The core measurement, and the part that works well. Plans include three engines chosen from four, so pick them against where your buyers actually ask.
Answers are analysed on a monthly allowance — 45 a month on Starter — not continuously.
Funnel-stage breakdown
Splits AI visibility by buyer-journey stage rather than reporting one aggregate figure.
The most actionable thing in the product. Absent at consideration stage but present at awareness is a content brief; a single blended score is not.
GA and Search Console integration
Connects Google Analytics and Search Console directly.
Puts AI visibility next to organic performance and real traffic, so the question becomes whether citations produce sessions.
Content gap identification
Derives gaps from the actual AI responses it collected.
Gaps grounded in what assistants said, rather than in a keyword export — a different and usually better starting list.
Automated GEO task generation
Turns findings into a task list.
Useful as a prompt to act.
The tasks lack implementation depth — no code templates or walkthroughs — and nothing verifies that a completed change worked.
Share-of-voice reporting
Reports visibility against a named competitor set with visual reporting.
The framing that survives a stakeholder meeting — your share against theirs, not your presence in isolation.
Social proof tracking
Monitors Reddit, G2 and Trustpilot mentions.
Those are the sources AI answers frequently cite in software categories, so watching them is watching the inputs.
Limited value for a brand with low review volume.

Strengths and limitations
Strengths
- Funnel-stage breakdown of AI visibility, which no other tool in this directory offers
- Direct Google Analytics and Search Console integration
- Content gaps derived from real AI responses rather than a keyword list
- Fast, lightweight interface and a setup wizard under five minutes
- Clear share-of-voice reporting against competitors
Limitations
- Data refreshes every 30 days, which is slow for a surface that changes weekly
- The report builder is in beta with widgets missing, so it is not ready for client delivery
- GEO task recommendations lack implementation detail and there is no verification that a change worked
- Review sentiment adds little for brands with low review volume
- Shopify integration is listed as coming soon and is unavailable
- Early-stage product, so the roadmap is part of what you are buying
Who it is for, and who should skip it
Worth it if
- You want AI visibility split by funnel stage rather than as one number
- You already report in GA and Search Console and want AI data beside it
- You are tracking GEO for clients or several sites, which is where the pricing works
Skip it if
- You need weekly or faster refresh to iterate on content
- You need client-ready reports now
- You want implementation guidance rather than a task list
Alternatives to Visby AI
Each one answers when it is the better choice, which is the only thing a list of competitors is useful for.
- Otterly.ai Choose it when refresh speed matters — it tracks daily from $29 a month, against Visby's 30 days.
- Peec AI Choose it when you want daily tracking with unlimited users and country coverage included.
- KNWN Choose it when you want the prompts behind every score shown to you, and daily runs at a similar price.
- Profound Choose it when you need prompt-demand research and CDN-level crawler data on an enterprise budget.

What changed
- 19 August 2026 — The engine list has changed since the review. That covered five platforms including Perplexity and Copilot; the pricing page today offers three engines selected from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. The plan limits on this page are the vendor's current published ones.
Questions
How often does Visby AI refresh its data?
Every 30 days. That is the single most important thing to know before buying: AI answers move week to week, so a monthly cycle shows you a trend rather than the effect of something you published last Tuesday. If you need to iterate quickly, a daily tracker is the better fit.
How much does Visby AI cost?
Starter is $79 a month for one domain, 15 tracked prompts and 45 AI answers analysed, and Growth is $199 for three domains, 90 prompts and 270 answers. Enterprise is quote-only. Verified on the vendor's pricing page on 19 August 2026.
What makes Visby different from other AI visibility tools?
The funnel-stage breakdown. Most tools report one visibility score; Visby splits it by buyer-journey stage, which turns the measurement into a decision about what content to write. The GA and Search Console integration is the other differentiator.
