Internal Linking tools
Internal linking tools find the contextual links a site should have and, in some cases, place them — connecting pages you already own so that authority and relevance reach the pages that need to rank.
What Internal Linking tools do
This is the cheapest ranking gain available on an established site, and the one most consistently left undone, because it stops being feasible by hand somewhere around a few hundred pages. The useful tools read your actual site rather than guessing: they take your sitemap or a crawl, find genuinely relevant destinations for a passage, and either suggest or insert the link. The failure mode to watch for is a tool that invents links to URLs that do not exist, or that inserts the same anchor a hundred times.
The sub-types inside this category
- Crawl-based analysers Map existing internal links, depth and orphaned pages. Diagnosis rather than execution.
- Sitemap-driven inserters Read your real URLs and place contextual links, usually inside a CMS or a content tool.
- Suite and plugin modules Bundled into content optimisation or WordPress SEO products, often on a higher tier.

Entry price is the lowest published figure on a plan you could buy on its own — add-ons and extra seats are excluded, and a tool whose vendor publishes no figure sits under “price not published” rather than being guessed at.
